Panch Pokhari Pilgrimage Trek 

Itinerary

Day 1: Drive from Kathmandu to Melamchi Bazaar, Trek to Thangpal Dhap

  • Drive Duration: 4-5 hours (Kathmandu to Melamchi Bazaar)
  • Trek Duration: 5-6 hours (Melamchi Bazaar to Thangpal Dhap)
  • Activities: Start early with a scenic drive from Kathmandu to Melamchi Bazaar. After reaching Melamchi Bazaar, begin trekking towards Thangpal Dhap, passing through lush forests and traditional villages.
  • Overnight: Camp or teahouse in Thangpal Dhap.

Day 2: Trek from Thangpal Dhap to Nasim Pati

  • Trek Duration: 5-6 hours
  • Activities: Continue trekking through forests with panoramic mountain views to Nasim Pati.
  • Overnight: Camp or teahouse in Nasim Pati.

Day 3: Trek from Nasim Pati to Panch Pokhari, Explore Panch Pokhari

  • Trek Duration: 4-5 hours (to Panch Pokhari)
  • Activities: Trek to Panch Pokhari, a group of five sacred lakes. Spend the afternoon exploring the lakes, performing rituals, and enjoying the natural beauty.
  • Overnight: Camp/tea house, near Panch Pokhari.

Day 4: Trek from Panch Pokhari to  Chhimti Bazaar, Drive to Kathmandu

  • Trek Duration: 8 hours (to Melamchi Bazaar)
  • Drive Duration: 5-6 hours ( Chhimti to Kathmandu)
  • Activities: Start early and trek back to  Chhimti Bazaar. After reaching  Chhimti, drive back to Kathmandu.
